Job Description
Looking to hire a responsible and hard working medical assistant. Work experience is preferred but not required as you will be trained on the job. Medical assistant certification is a must! Duties include but not limited to:
- Vitalize and triage patients.
- Escort patients to and from exam rooms, record patient data
- Prepare and stock treatment rooms.
- Assist physician and providers with exams/procedures as requested.
- Verify presence of consent prior to treatment or procedures.
- Request/obtain new patient records and previous test results (i.e.: x-rays, scans, etc.)
- Performing other administrative duties (i.e.: typing, filing, faxing, reception, etc.,) as requested by supervisor or physician.
- EMR experience is preferred.
