May be asked occasionally to go to the South Jordan location. This is a full-time, 40 hours/week position. Your work schedule will be four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday. This schedule may vary based on Federal holidays and staff vacation schedules. Starting salary may be higher than the amount listed in this post based on your experience in the medical field. Duties of a medical assistant include but are not limited to the following: Rooming patients, recording patient medical histories, preparing patients for examination and treatment, assisting in procedures, and charting visit notes using EHR (Electronic Health Record system) using an Ipad. Must be detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and be able to multi-task. Clerical duties include answering phones, greeting patients, calling in prescriptions, obtaining prior authorizations from insurance companies, documenting phone calls with patients in the patient's chart, and other duties as assigned. Our trainers will provide training in these areas. This list is not all comprehensive and you may be required to do other tasks as a Medical Assistant.
