CERTIFIED
medical assistant. Successful candidates must be FRIENDLY, energetic, detail-oriented and
RELIABLE.
Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Greet and room patients, assist patient with medical forms and document all information in patient's chart Frequent use of electronic charting software Assist healthcare provider before, during and after patient examinations Give instructions to patients as instructed by healthcare provider Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed and available in patients' medical records Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/healthcare provider/pharmacy calls. Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians and physician assistants Maintain all logs and follow office protocols to ensure patient data is accurate and secure Strict adherence to HIPAA policies Maintain clinic cleanliness and sterilization standards while adhering to safety protocols related to infection control All other duties as assigned by clinic managers or practice administrator Qualifications Applicants must hold a current Medical Assistant Certification in the State of Washington & be willing to provide occasional back-up support at our Hermiston, Oregon office. Medical office experience preferred; customer service skills required. Position requires availability 6:30am-6pm (Monday-Friday) and the ability to work with ALL types of people. Potential candidates will need to complete a trial period prior to a full-time position being offered (offer of employment will be contingent on a background check).
