Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Must be a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant . As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. One-year work experience desired as a certified/registered medical assistant, in a medical office setting. Knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of medications. Computer experience (highly electronic office with electronic health record). Must be able to travel to remote outreach clinics in personal vehicle

Duties/ Responsibilities Interview patients and accurately input patient information, appointment details, and interactions into the clinic's database system Available to occasionally travel to out of town clinics Educate patients on clinic procedures Assist during medical examinations & procedures Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Required High Shool diploma or equivalent CMA certification through an accredited certifed medical assistant program Experience 1 + years experience as a medical assistant Required Skills/ Abilities Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
