OUT/INPATIENT/EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT PROFEE /FACILITY CODERS

Job Opening Summary Accurately code ancillary records using
CPT & ICD-10-CM
Code sets. Well versed in coding/charge capture on EMR system (CAC, EPIC, Etc.). Ability to escalate information discrepancies and/or deficiencies to appropriate personnel. Willing to learn and work across specialties and departments. Experience in working in different EPIC queues of claim edits, denials etc. is preferred.
Job Opening Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent. CIC,CPMA, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA, CPC, CPC-A or coding program certificate preferred.
CIC,CPMA, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA, CPC, CPC-A
required within six months of hire. Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy and physiology required. Minimum 6 months of medical coding experience required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
CIC,CPMA, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA, CPC, CPC-A or coding program certificate preferred.

required within six months of hire.
Salary Range:
Commensurate to experience Freshers -
Hourly:
$18.00 - $19.00 1-2 years' Experience -
Hourly:
$20.00 Minimum 2 years' experience in multi-specialty coding -
Hourly:
$21 and above Hybrid Hours (Days Working at the Office and Days Working from Home)
