Key Responsibilities:

Review and accurately assign medical codes for orthopedic surgery procedures, diagnoses, and related services. Perform detailed code abstraction from clinical documentation. Ensure coding compliance with payer, state, and federal regulations. Apply knowledge of Medi-Cal guidelines and requirements. Process and review coding related to Hospital UB-04 claims.
