Job Description

The Lincoln Family Medicine Center, a program of the Lincoln Medical Education Partnership, currently has a FT opening for a Certified Medical Coding Specialist. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in medical coding is required. Certification is preferred. This is an in-office position (not remote). This person is responsible for coordinating, verifying, distributing, and managing all coding services. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT, Category II, E/M coding, and at least two years of hands-on billing and coding experience in a health care organization. Certification in medical billing and coding is preferred. Responsible for providing superior, high-volume service in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a team player who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task in our busy office. We offer competitive pay, good benefits, and a friendly atmosphere.
