Within Health Information Management, the Hospital Medical Records Director will lead an essential department responsible for the accuracy, accessibility, privacy, security, and integrity of patient information. The Hospital Medical Records Director will report to senior hospital leadership and receive support from experienced operational, clinical, financial, compliance, and technology partners. Key responsibilities include directing daily HIM operations, coaching and developing staff, monitoring productivity and quality, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, overseeing medical record standards, supporting audits, and leading process improvement initiatives.
