Our team is growing and we want you to join us as an emergency medicine nurse practitioner or physician assistant at Advent Health Orlando. Due to volume and acuity, candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of EM experience as a PA/NP prior to applying. A current Florida license is preferred but not required. Current shift times are 5am-3pm, 2pm-midnight, and 8pm-6am. Nocturnist candidates are preferred. Apply today to learn more!

An Emergency Medical Director within emergency medical services is a physician who provides guidance, leadership, oversight and continuous quality improvement (CQI) for the practice of local EMTs and paramedics within a predefined area. Typically board-certified in emergency medicine or pediatric emergency medicine. Generally responsible for either the creation of protocols for treatment by prehospital providers or providing leadership to the group of physicians who assist with the provision of medical oversight depending on which model of service delivery and which model of medical control are operating.
