Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician opportunity at a newly opened freestanding emergency room in Panama City, FL. Facility 11,000 sq. ft. freestanding ER 11 treatment bays including fully equipped trauma bay All private treatment rooms Separate adult and pediatric waiting areas Key responsibilities Provide emergency medical care to adult and pediatric patients in a freestanding ER setting Manage a range of acute medical and trauma presentations using available resources and the trauma bay Coordinate patient transfers and transitions of care with EMS personnel Communicate effectively with ED staff and receiving inpatient teams to facilitate timely admissions and handoffs Document care accurately and follow facility protocols and state regulations Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain) Locum tenens availability and flexibility for shifts in Panama City Location Panama City, FL — Gulf Coast community with outdoor recreation and cultural amenities
