Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Child Psychiatrist for a part-time role. You will work 25 hours per week, hybrid with 1-2 required days in-office. This role involves conducting 45-60 minute psychiatric evaluations and 30-minute medication management follow-ups for patients aged 3-18. You may work at other facilities outside of your hours, and there is potential to increase hours or transition to a full-time role within 1-2 years. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients aged 3-18. Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications as needed. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, nurse practitioners, social workers, and counselors, for holistic care. Provide ongoing support and follow-up care, including family therapy sessions as needed. Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans. Qualifications MD or DO, with a specialization in Psychiatry (or currently completing training in Child Psychiatry). Board certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Valid Maryland medical license required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with young patients and their families. Experience with children and adolescents preferred. Commitment to a collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care Additional Details Flexible scheduling with a required in-office 1-2 days per week and remaining hours remote.
