This pivotal role ensures the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services by overseeing advanced imaging modalities, managing multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will drive excellence in patient care, optimize workflow efficiencies, and foster a collaborative environment that supports continuous improvement and cutting-edge advancements in medical imaging technology and be available to support our locations in Texas and in Sacramento CA. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance advanced imaging services, aligning with organizational goals and industry standards. Oversee the daily operations of the imaging department, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure seamless patient flow. Manage multidisciplinary teams comprising radiologists, technologists, administrative staff, and support personnel through effective supervision. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations such as HIPPA and local health policies related to medical imaging and patient safety. Maintain proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records), EHR (Electronic Health Records), and patient management software to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy. Monitor departmental budgets, control costs through fiscal management strategies, and oversee medical billing processes related to imaging procedures. Stay abreast of technological advancements in advanced imaging modalities like MRI, X-ray to facilitate continuous departmental innovation. Drive growth initiatives and project planning for new site planning, construction and launches. Requirements Business/Healthcare Admin degree required or related degree Proficiency with Sales Force, Power BI, EHR, Practice Suite and MS Office preferred. Proven experience supervising healthcare or medical imaging departments with a strong background in medical office management, 4+ years preferred. Extensive knowledge of healthcare management practices including practice management systems. Demonstrated fiscal management skills with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and resource planning. Strong understanding of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and patient management software to support efficient clinical workflows. Excellent managerial communication skills with a track record of managing teams effectively within a healthcare setting. Prior experience in advanced medical imaging modalities such as MRI preferred. Ability to navigate complex healthcare regulations related to medical records, medical billing, utilization management, and managed care environments.
