Discovery Behavioral Healthcare (DBH) is seeking an experienced Licensed Mental Health Provider to provide clinical and operational leadership for our behavioral health services within the Jefferson County Jail. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced clinician to help lead and shape a comprehensive jail behavioral health program while maintaining meaningful direct clinical involvement. The individual selected will have an important role in strengthening behavioral health services within the jail and improving continuity between correctional and community-based care. Job Overview This position combines clinical practice, program management, staff supervision, and program development . The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services to individuals incarcerated in the county jail while working collaboratively with DBH leadership, correctional staff, medical providers, community partners, and other members of the treatment team. The Program Manager for Jail Services will help establish and maintain clinical policies, procedures, staff roles, workflows, documentation standards, and quality expectations while also providing direct behavioral health services to patients. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day clinical oversight of DBH's jail behavioral health program. Ensure behavioral health services are delivered in a professional, timely, trauma-informed, and patient-centered manner. Develop and implement clinical workflows and standards for mental health services within the correctional environment. Coordinate behavioral health services with jail administration, correctional staff, medical providers, substance use disorder professionals, and community providers. Assist DBH leadership in identifying opportunities to improve access, continuity of care, patient outcomes, and program effectiveness. Participate in quality improvement, utilization review, incident review, and program performance activities. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or another appropriate behavioral health discipline. Current Washington State professional license that permits independent behavioral health practice, such as LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or other qualifying independent clinical license . Experience providing mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic services. Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision consistent with applicable Washington State requirements. Strong clinical documentation and treatment-planning skills. Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing serious mental illness, substance use disorders, trauma, co-occurring conditions, and complex psychosocial needs.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
