Job Description
We are currently seeking a Medical Office Manager that is passionate for patient-centered care to lead the daily administrative and clinical efforts of one of our practices in Chandler, Arizona.
JOB SUMMARY
In partnership with the managing physicians, the Medical Office Manager will ensure that the medical office provides outstanding customer service, via engaged employees, in an efficient manner. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor Degree• preferably in Healthcare or Business Administration or a related field from an accredited school. The individual will have at least five (5) years' experience as a Manager preferably in a medical practice office. •An equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed below, may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Medical Office Manager will work closely with the physicians as well as other medical office personnel to: Take ownership of the entire office to include marketing, financials, staffing levels, employee engagement, collections, patient count and office efficiencies. Coordinate medical and health services in hospitals, clinics or similar organizations. Ensure that every patient encounter is a "wow" experience. Assist with the development and implementation of practice policies and procedures Hire, schedule, educate, and evaluate office staff. Ensure a productive, team-oriented environment. Conduct regular staff meetings to provide information to and to solicit feedback from office staff. Support the overall goals of the company.JOB KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Strong leadership. Knowledge of Medical Practice Management, OSHA, HIPAA, Compliance, EMR, Billing and Collections. Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clinicians, patients, administrators, auxiliary personnel, and regulators. Able to solve problems independently. Knowledge of medical terminology. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational skills to independently manage work flow. Ability to prioritize quickly and appropriately. Ability to multi-task.
