Job Description

Overview Dental Office Manager We are seeking a highly experienced, results-driven Dental Office Manager to lead a busy, patient-centered dental practice. This is a leadership role for someone who understands both the clinical and business sides of dentistry. The ideal candidate is not only an experienced manager, but also has a strong background in treatment coordination, case presentation, sales, and increasing case acceptance . Experience managing PPO and HMO dental practices—including scheduling, treatment planning, treatment presentation, billing, and operational workflows related to managed care—is strongly preferred. You will oversee daily operations, lead and develop a high-performing team, drive production and collections, support treatment acceptance, and create an exceptional patient experience. This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of Dental Office Management experience. Candidates without this experience will not be considered. Qualifications Required Minimum 5 years of Dental Office Management experience Strong treatment coordinating and sales background with proven success presenting treatment, overcoming patient objections, and increasing case acceptance Experience presenting comprehensive and high-value treatment plans and helping patients understand their treatment options and financial responsibilities Ability to coach, train, and hold team members accountable for treatment presentation, follow-up, scheduling, and case acceptance Experience managing HMO and PPO dental insurance plans, including treatment coordination, billing, and understanding of capitation and managed care workflows Strong leadership and team development skills Thorough knowledge of dental insurance, scheduling, billing, and collections Experience using Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft, or similar practice management software Strong understanding of practice KPIs and financial reporting Ability to analyze production, collections, case acceptance, unscheduled treatment, and other key performance indicators and take action to improve results Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and sales skills Professional, confident, and calm under pressure Preferred Experience Experience working with DeltaCare USA and other California HMO dental plans Experience in multi-provider, high-volume dental practices Proven success improving production, collections, case acceptance, treatment acceptance, and operational efficiency Experience developing systems and strategies for following up on unscheduled treatment and maximizing opportunities within the schedule
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
