Dental Office Manager Full-Time | Monday-Friday +
Some Saturdays Required Salary:
$80,000-$105,000 per year We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Dental Office Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our dental office. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who understands both the clinical and administrative sides of dentistry , can motivate a team, and is comfortable taking an active role in patient treatment and financial discussions. Position Responsibilities Oversee daily office operations and ensure the practice runs efficiently and professionally. Lead, coach, and hold front and back office teams accountable for performance and productivity. Present and explain treatment plans to patients , helping them understand their recommended treatment, benefits, costs, and available payment options. Build strong relationships with patients and provide an exceptional patient experience. Assist with treatment acceptance and help the office achieve production and collection goals. Handle patient financial responsibilities , including collecting payments, reviewing balances, discussing financial arrangements, and ensuring payments are properly processed and documented. Maintain accurate cash, credit card, check, and financing transactions while following company financial procedures. Monitor daily production, collections, outstanding balances, and office performance. Ensure deposits and end-of-day financial procedures are completed accurately. Work closely with doctors and team members to coordinate patient flow and maximize office efficiency. Monitor scheduling, cancellations, no-shows, and opportunities to improve office productivity. Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and company standards. Assist with hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of team members. Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented office culture. Address patient concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently. Ensure the office is properly staffed, organized, and prepared for daily operations. Support specialty and general dentistry services as needed. Qualifications Previous dental office management experience required. Strong knowledge of dental office operations, scheduling, treatment coordination, and collections. Must be comfortable presenting treatment plans and discussing financial options with patients. Strong understanding of dental insurance, patient balances, and payment arrangements. Experience handling and reconciling patient payments, including cash, checks, credit cards, and third-party financing. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accountability with financial responsibilities. Ability to motivate a team and hold employees accountable. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-focused dental environment. Working knowledge of dental practice management software is preferred. Must be dependable, professional, and willing to work some Saturdays as required .
