The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in medical office management, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to supervise and coordinate healthcare staff. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing practice workflows, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivering exceptional patient care support. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining efficient office operations, fostering a welcoming environment, and supporting the clinical team to deliver high-quality dental services. Duties Manage daily administrative functions including patient scheduling, billing, and record keeping using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix. Supervise office staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative team environment focused on excellent customer service. Oversee fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, financial reporting, medical billing, and ensuring compliance with healthcare financial policies. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations while maintaining adherence to HIPAA regulations and health policy standards. Handle patient management software to facilitate appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out processes, and medical records management. Monitor inventory control for dental supplies and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective procurement. Ensure compliance with healthcare practice management standards including health regulation policies, managed care protocols, and medical administrative support procedures. Facilitate communication between patients, staff, and healthcare providers to optimize workflow efficiency and patient satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management within a dental or clinical setting. Strong background in dental office experience coupled with familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience managing teams in healthcare environments. Knowledge of fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and medical billing processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for administrative tasks and reporting purposes. In-depth understanding of HIPAA regulations, health regulation policies, and compliance standards within healthcare practices. Excellent managerial communication skills combined with exceptional customer service abilities. Experience with medical terminology, medical records management, and acute or hospital care settings is preferred. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of office administration.
