Key Qualifications:

Active Occupational Therapy license in Connecticut (required) School-based OT experience preferred, but strong new graduates with relevant clinical backgrounds are welcome Comfort working with a variety of disabilities, including emotional disturbance (ED), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and learning disabilities (LD) Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff

What Youll Do:

Serve a varying caseload of approximately 1535 students throughout the contract period Deliver comprehensive OT services in both Wallingford and Norwalk campuses, adapting your schedule and travel as needed Assess student needs and devise individualized intervention plans Implement direct therapy sessions and consultative support Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress tracking Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Foster growth and independence in students by focusing on fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills This is an opportunity to make a true difference every day by supporting students growth, fostering independence, and being a key member of an engaged school team.
