Dental Office Manager Atlas Dental Niles, IL 60714 Full-time | $20-$30 per hour + monthly bonus opportunities About Atlas Dental Atlas Dental is a newly rebranded, dentist-owned and operated practice in Niles, Illinois—not a corporate dental chain. Our Office Manager will work alongside a strong, collaborative team of general dentists and specialists and will play an important role in shaping our systems, culture, growth, and patient experience. We are seeking an organized, proactive, and patient-focused Dental Office Manager to lead our daily front-office operations and help us deliver an exceptional experience for every patient. The Office Manager will be supported by a virtual dental billing and insurance verification team, allowing the in-office team to focus more closely on patients, scheduling, treatment coordination, team leadership, and practice operations. Responsibilities Oversee daily administrative and front-office operations Lead, support, and coordinate the front-office team Develop and maintain efficient workflows, policies, and office systems Manage the patient schedule to support productivity and practice goals Create a welcoming, professional, and well-organized patient experience Present treatment plans and explain scheduling, payment options, and financial arrangements Help patients understand and utilize third-party financing options, including SunBit, Cherry, and similar programs Coordinate with general dentists, specialists, and team members to support continuity of care Oversee patient communications, appointment confirmations, recalls, and follow-up Collaborate with the virtual billing and insurance verification team on claims, benefits, patient account questions, and outstanding balances Monitor collections, accounts receivable, scheduling performance, and other key practice metrics Ensure patient records and administrative documentation are accurate and complete Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, and team performance Manage office supplies, inventory, and facility-related needs Support compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable practice policies Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, teamwork, practice growth, and patient satisfaction Qualifications Previous dental office management or dental front-office experience strongly preferred Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance processes, treatment coordination, and financial arrangements Comfortable helping develop systems and processes in a newly rebranded practice Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy dental environment Professional, dependable, proactive, and patient-focused Experience with Dentrix Ascend is preferred but not required; training will be provided Experience with patient-financing platforms such as SunBit, Cherry, or similar programs is preferred but not required; training will be provided Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are preferred but not required.
