Balance Veterinary Center is located right in the heart of Rockville, adjacent to the Rockville Town Center. This prime location puts you in a vibrant spot and allows for incredibly easy commuting options. We are a single-doctor practice that provides high-quality conventional care alongside alternative medical choices such as acupuncture and ozone therapy. By offering this integrated veterinary medicine approach, we deliver comprehensive treatment options. Beyond the clinic floor, our goal is to always deliver exceptional customer service for our patients and their families. Position Overview As our Veterinary Team Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day work flow on the clinic floor, supervising a small, close-knit staff of receptionists and veterinary technicians. This is a working leadership position that requires active, hands-on participation in daily clinic operations alongside your team. This role is perfect for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and to prioritize to ensure the clinic's needs are met. Key Responsibilities Supervise, guide, and support our reception and technician staff. Manage employee schedules Supervise daily workflow and clinic operations to ensure everything runs smoothly. Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members. Uphold and promote high clinic standards and foster a positive clinic culture. Provide mentorship and training to staff as needed
Qualifications:
Veterinary experience: minimum of 3 years of experience in a veterinary setting.
Supervisory experience:
minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
Skills:
exceptional people skills, strong communication, and proven leadership qualities. A foundation in technical skills is a plus.
