Job Description

KCUC is a large Urology, Oncology and Radiation Private Practice seeing a Medical Office Supervisor to work in their North Kansas City, Liberty and Independence locations.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
  • Supervise office staff, including helping hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure timely and accurate billing
  • Maintain electronic health records (EHR) using systems
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize utilization management and improve patient outcomes
  • Monitor and manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
  • Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of medical office operations, including managed care and utilization management
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
