Perform upfront collections, financial counseling, and data processing. Ensure the accuracy of information necessary in the billing and collections process. Follow policies and procedures to ensure accurate capturing and posting of financial activity to assist in maintaining accounts receivable at amounts appropriate for payer and acuity mix. Qualifications Minimum Education:
Associates degree or higher in business administration, accounting preferred, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
Minimum Work Experience:
4 years of experience in accounts receivable in a healthcare institution with 1 year of experience in a leadership role is required.
Required Skills:
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs Reliability and discretion Able to problem solve and adapt Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and build relationships Take initiative and lead others
