Job Description
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Responsible for supervising the daily operations of the clinical staff of a medical clinic. Acts as a liaison between the back office and other clinic departments. Mediates issues between back office staff and physicians as well as other departments in the clinic.DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Heartspring Wellness Center offers services to help clients achieve their best health in mind, body and spirit. Services include integrative primary care, integrative medicine consultations, naturopathic medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMT), acupuncture, nutrition counseling and classes, chronic disease management, integrative cancer support services, massage therapy, movement therapy, mind-body medicine, stress and symptom reduction, biofeedback and imagery for pain reduction and better living.EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required. Previous medical back office experience/medical assistant training, or completion of a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant program required. Two (2) years experience in a healthcare setting required. Previous leadership/supervisory experience preferred. Healthcare Provider BLS required.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
