Position:
Lake Zurich Foot Clinic is seeking an experienced Medical Office Manager / Assistant Practice Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid position, with approximately 3-4 days in the office and 2 days working from home, totaling approximately 35-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management (RCM), insurance, and medical office operations. Podiatry experience is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. The ability to work independently and stay self-motivated while working remotely is essential.
Responsibilities:
In-Office Greet patients, answer phones, and schedule appointments Enter and maintain patient demographic information Enter billings and submit insurance claims Collect copays and outstanding patient balances Verify insurance coverage and benefits Handle patient insurance, billing, and statement inquiries Order and maintain office supplies Assist physicians and clinical staff as needed Process daily mail Remote Manage all aspects of revenue cycle management (RCM) Maintain provider insurance portals and CAQH profiles Handle month-end billing processes and patient statements Schedule, coordinate, and manage ASC surgeries Assist the Practice Manager with additional administrative responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with medical billing, revenue cycle management (RCM), insurance, claims, and medical coding is required Previous experience in a medical office, healthcare administration, or practice management Strong understanding of medical office and insurance workflows Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Strong communication and patient service skills Experience working with insurance portals and healthcare administrative systems Medisoft experience is preferred but not required Podiatry experience is preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits:
