This pivotal role involves overseeing administrative functions, managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimizing clinic workflows. The ideal candidate will possess extensive medical office experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a key member of our team, you will drive efficiency, foster a positive work environment, and uphold the highest standards of medical management. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of healthcare staff, including administrative support, nursing personnel, and clinical teams to ensure smooth clinic operations Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems especially Veradigm (Allscripts) Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and healthcare policies related to patient privacy and data security Handle human resources responsibilities including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development Monitor clinic workflows to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction while maintaining high standards of medical office management Maintain knowledge of healthcare regulations and policy updates to ensure ongoing compliance across all practice activities Oversee medical administrative support functions such as appointment scheduling, patient management software utilization, and medical records organization Collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline clinical processes in acute care or dental settings as needed Implement quality assurance protocols related to healthcare practice management and ensure adherence to safety standards Skills Extensive experience in medical office management with proficiency in EMR/EHR systems especially Veradigm (Allscripts) Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial oversight, and medical billing expertise Proven ability to supervise teams effectively within healthcare environments involving nursing or dental staff Deep understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and health policy policies Excellent managerial communication skills for team leadership and stakeholder engagement Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes Knowledge of managed care practices, utilization management, and health regulation policies Experience with office management tasks such as scheduling, patient management software, and medical records handling Ability to navigate acute care or dental clinic environments with familiarity in dental office experience is a plus Strong customer service orientation combined with critical care experience where applicable Competence in managing budgets, medical billing processes, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards Join us as a Medical Office Manager to lead our healthcare practice into a future of excellence!
