Job Description
Company Overview Companion Animal Hospital is a full-service, privately owned veterinary hospital located in Bellevue, Washington. Since 1998, we have been dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care, with a focus on preventive medicine to ensure the health and well-being of our patients. Summary The main goal of the Front Office Manager is to oversee all front office duties, as well as serving as a client service rep on the floor. Duties include receiving clients and patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments and procedures, performing clerical duties relating to patient care and treatment, act as a liaison between our clients and the medical staff, and provide support to all departments. Management duties include ensuring excellent client service, smooth and efficient client/patient flow, front office organization, employee supervision and scheduling, hiring and training, and much, much more. The right candidate should have veterinary front office experience, a level head, excellent communication skills, be able to multitask with strong attention to detail, and work well in a fast paced, emotionally charged, and sometimes stressful environment. This position requires basic computer skills, a working knowledge of the standard procedures, veterinary records and medical terminology, used in a veterinary hospital, a Veterinary Medication Clerk certification to be obtained within 6 months of employment, and a willingness to experience and learn new things . Previous veterinary and/or management experience is required.
