Flexible schedule Barenburg Eye Associates Barenburg Eye Associates is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented part-time Ophthalmology Medical Records Filer to assist with maintaining organized and accurate patient records. This position plays an important role in preparing patient charts and ensuring records are readily available for upcoming appointments. This position provides a flexible schedule, usually averaging less than 20 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
File patient charts and medical records accurately and efficiently. Pull and prepare patient charts for the following day's appointments. Maintain an organized filing system and ensure records are stored appropriately. Review charts for proper organization and completeness. Locate and retrieve patient records as requested by office staff. Maintain a high level of attention to detail when handling confidential patient information. Keep the medical records area neat, orderly, and organized. Follow office procedures for handling and maintaining patient records. Work independently while managing daily filing and chart-preparation responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to maintain accuracy while performing repetitive filing and record-retrieval tasks. Ability to handle confidential patient information professionally. Previous medical office or medical records experience is helpful but not required.
