This team member will also support financial management and human resources functions while fostering a positive workplace atmosphere. Responsibilities Answering the phone and greeting patients. Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization. Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate medical records. Handle billing and financial management tasks, including invoicing and payment processing. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and data security. Utilize office systems such as Eaglesoft for managing patient information and appointments. Collaborate with dental staff to streamline workflows and improve service delivery. Maintain inventory of office supplies and order as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Skills Proficiency in dental terminology relevant to dental or veterinary practices. Experience with office management systems, particularly Eaglesoft. Strong financial management skills for handling billing and invoicing processes. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance in all administrative tasks. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
