Duties Greet patients warmly, verify insurance details, and update patient records in Electronic Health Records. Schedule appointments efficiently using dental clinic management software (Dentrix), ensuring optimal patient flow and minimal wait times Collect payments, process medical billing, and perform medical collections with accuracy and professionalism Manage phone communications with excellent phone etiquette, providing clear information and directing calls appropriately Review and organize medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Assist with documentation review, coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), and insurance claims processing for Medicare and health insurance providers Support clinical staff by maintaining accurate care plans, medical documentation, and filing of medical records in accordance with health information management standards Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical office administrative support role, preferably within a dental clinic environment Familiarity with dental coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), billing procedures, and health insurance processes.
