In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, facilitate smooth patient flow, and ensure exceptional customer service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality dental care while honing your skills in office management. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in/check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency Schedule appointments using dental clinic management software and coordinate provider calendars Verify patient insurance coverage, process payments, and handle billing inquiries with accuracy Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) specifically Open Dental Review documentation for completeness and accuracy in accordance with clinical confidentiality policies and HIPAA regulations Answer phones with excellent phone etiquette, providing clear communication and appointment confirmations Support clinical staff by managing dental records, filing documents, and performing data entry tasks. Maintain health information management standards and ensure compliance with HIPAA Qualifications Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone communication and office etiquette Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate medical records Prior dental clinic experience not required; training will be provided for specific software tools
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
