Full Job Description Dental Assistant, Front Office Floater Duties:
  • Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Eaglesoft
  • Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
  • Coordinate with back office and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Manage patient records and documentation
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Understand treatment planning, insurance breakdown, basic verification
  • Assist back office as needed: taking x-rays, set up/break down of rooms, sterilization, assist doctor as needed
Requirements:
  • X-ray license, OSHA certification
  • Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and treatments
  • Proficiency in using the Eaglesoft or similar electronic health record software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
