Full Job Description Dental Assistant, Front Office Floater Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Eaglesoft
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Coordinate with back office and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow
- Manage patient records and documentation
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Understand treatment planning, insurance breakdown, basic verification
- Assist back office as needed: taking x-rays, set up/break down of rooms, sterilization, assist doctor as needed
Requirements:
- X-ray license, OSHA certification
- Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and treatments
- Proficiency in using the Eaglesoft or similar electronic health record software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
