Patient Services CoordinatorLocation:
Wheat Ridge, CO Our busy, patient-focused Neurology practice is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Part-Time to Full-time Medical Receptionist to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy assisting patients, thrive in fast-paced environments, and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring our daily operations run smoothly. Salary $20/hour Schedule Part-time (25 - 35 hours per week) M-F 9A - 3P, potential for flexibility with days/times Responsibilities Answer and manage a high volume of incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Check patients in and out for appointments as needed Manage and obtain Prior Authorizations Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office Support providers, clinical staff, and office leadership with additional administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Previous medical receptionist, medical office, or healthcare customer service experience preferred Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable learning new computer systems and technology Reliable, punctual, and a team player We're looking for someone who: Has a warm and compassionate personality Enjoys helping patients navigate their healthcare Is proactive and takes initiative Works well independently while also supporting the team Maintains a positive attitude during busy days Can prioritize multiple tasks without sacrificing accuracy Benefits PTO If you are organized, dependable, and passionate about providing outstanding patient service, we'd love to hear from you.
