THE NEUROLOGY INSTITUTE
is seeking experienced dedicated and professional Medical Front Desk Receptionists to serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors in a busy private healthcare environment. The ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical administrative procedures, and proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth clinic operations while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations. The Medical Front Desk Receptionists will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient service and administrative tasks. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing courteous and efficient front desk service. Schedule patient appointments accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) in eClinicalWorks. Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures while ensuring all documentation complies with HIPAA privacy policies. Adherence to clinical confidentiality policies. Answering high volume, multi-line phones professionally; scheduling patient appointments, answering general questions, data entry of patient demographic and insurance information, handling faxes, patient emails, patient texts, and receiving/relaying accurate messages within the practice. Demonstrate proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite for internal communications. Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing patient concerns compassionately, promptly and professionally. Experience Prior experience working in a private medical office or clinic environment is required; experience in neurology, rheumatology and/or psychiatry is a plus. Familiarity with EMR/EHR eClinicalWorks is a plus. Knowledge of health insurance processes such as HMO referral requirements is required. Strong clerical skills including typing, scanning, and data entry are necessary for success in this role. Bilingual abilities are advantageous to effectively serve diverse patient populations. Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies is mandatory. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
