Event-based, with potential for ongoing work About HobbyCon USA HobbyCon is a leading Pokémon TCG card show in North America, bringing together collectors, players, vendors, and hobby enthusiasts. We are expanding into the United States and are excited to host our first HobbyCon USA local show in Coral Springs, Florida . We are looking for a talented and creative Videographer / Video Editor to help us capture the energy of our events and create high-quality content for social media, marketing, and future promotions. Position Overview The ideal candidate is someone who understands short-form social media content and knows how to capture exciting moments at live events. You will be responsible for filming event footage, creating promotional videos, capturing behind-the-scenes content, and editing engaging videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social channels. This is an excellent opportunity for a videographer who enjoys working at live events and wants to be part of the launch and growth of a new U.S. event brand. Responsibilities Film high-quality video footage during HobbyCon USA events Capture event highlights, vendors, attendees, Pokémon TCG activity, and behind-the-scenes moments Create engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Edit promotional and recap videos Capture cinematic B-roll and creative event footage Coordinate with the HobbyCon team to identify important moments and content opportunities Capture aerial/drone footage when appropriate and legally permitted Deliver organized, high-quality video files and edited content Help develop creative video concepts for future HobbyCon events Maintain a consistent visual style that represents the HobbyCon brand Qualifications Previous experience in videography and video editing Portfolio demonstrating video production and editing skills Experience creating short-form social media content Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar Strong understanding of composition, lighting, framing, and storytelling Ability to work in a fast-paced live-event environment Reliable and professional Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Drone experience/certification is a plus Experience with trading card shows, conventions, gaming events, collectibles, or similar events is a plus Equipment Candidates with their own professional camera, lenses, audio equipment, stabilizers/gimbals, lighting, and/or drone equipment are encouraged to apply.
