Job Description

West Volusia Family and Sports Medicine is actively seeking a qualified Medical Receptionist to join our Family primary practice. This is a
FULL-TIME
position Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team focusing in the areas of Family and Sports medicine.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients upon arrival Register new patients, update demographics for existing patients Perform routine administrative tasks to support medical staff Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone ​
Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in medical office or healthcare administration. with medical terminology and procedures Strong organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills/Experience:
Able to use computer systems for medical records Polished customer service skills and a real ability to understand our patients' needs The ability to handle and seek to resolve patient complaints if they arise, with tact and positive outcomes Must be reliable and punctual in attendance to keep office hours and coverage in the practice. Must be flexible for scheduling.
Abilities required:
Excellent patient care skills. Basic medical terminology, basic arithmetic, and safe work practices in a clinic setting. Experience with eClinical Works is a plus.
