working for our sate of the art dental office practice in Bay Harbor!! Looking for an enthusiastic and motivated front desk with excellent people skills who wants to be part of an amazing team!
Ideal candidate:
Enthusiastic and love interacting with people, in person and over the phone, dental experience preferred. Tell us why you are interested in working in a dental practice? Ability to project a positive, warm, friendly and professional image in person and over the phone. Eager to learn and grow. Very good verbal, written and organizational skills ( English, Spanish, & Russian ) Preferred . English is mandatory (speaking and writing) and Spanish/Russian is Preferred (speaking). Looking for someone with strong multi-tasking skills, take initiative and anticipate the needs of others. Reliable, prompt and committed to a long term working relationship. Works well in a team with enthusiasm and consideration of others.
Hours of operation:
Monday to Friday 8:30 am -5:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for checking patients in, having facility consent and patient rights forms signed, and placing chart for clinical staff. Distribute daily schedules at the beginning of the day Following up with all patients after dental procedures. Interact with both the patient and/or the patients' significant others throughout the continuum of patient care Verify insurance(dental insurance experience) for all new and returning patients. No HMO's. Only PPO's and fee for service. Inform dental assistant that patient has arrived, ensure patient is seen in timely manner, and ensure patient wait is comfortable. Ability to use and learn dental software, process credit card machines Collect and process co-pays and/or payments Answers phones and transfers callers to correct person Schedule and confirm dental appointments. Follow-up next day by phone Keep all areas clean and professional Arrive on time. Punctuality is extremely important ‪Performs other duties as assigned or requested like assisting patients Minimum of 1 year Dental front office experience is a
