Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Dental Front Desk & Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, staying organized, and helping patients understand their treatment and insurance benefits. We are a low-volume dental office, allowing our team to provide personalized attention to each patient rather than rushing through a high-volume schedule. Responsibilities Greet patients and provide a warm, professional experience Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments Check patients in and out Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility Review treatment plans and explain treatment costs to patients Discuss insurance benefits, copays, deductibles, and estimated patient portions Present treatment plans and help patients understand their recommended care Assist with scheduling treatment and following up with patients Process payments and maintain accurate patient accounts Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims Obtain and organize insurance information and patient records Maintain accurate patient information in Open Dental Communicate effectively with the dentist, clinical team, and patients Qualifications Previous dental front office or treatment coordinating experience preferred Knowledge of dental insurance and dental terminology Experience with treatment plans and insurance benefits preferred Experience with Open Dental is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable discussing treatment and financial arrangements with patients What We Offer Full-time or part-time opportunity Monday-Friday schedule with some Saturdays 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM office hours Low-volume, patient-focused environment Hourly pay based on experience If you are experienced in dental front office, enjoy helping patients, and are looking for a position where you can be an important part of a team, we would love to hear from you!
