Job Description
We are recruiting for an experienced front office team member for a specialty practice in Athens/Watkinsville, GA preferably residing in or near the area. The new Team Member is responsible for working in a medical clinic for foot and ankle services. We are looking for someone who can communicate with patients and co-workers in a professional yet friendly manner, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment! Ideal candidates will possess the following qualities: Passion for helping patients A positive attitude Excellent customer service skills Strong written and oral communication skills A strong work ethic Ability to work well within a team and independently Responsibilities for front office include: answering phones scheduling appointments check in, checkout insurance verification collecting payments Preferred experience: 1 year in a medical office setting and an understanding of health insurance as it relates to patient benefits, deductibles, co-insurance, and co-pays. Ability to interact directly with patients Knowledge of specialty (or specialties) as appropriate Excellent Prioritization and Time Management skills Excellent Collaboration and Teamwork skills Ability to work under pressure with time constraints. Ability to concentrate and work independently Excellent listening skills. Ability to understand and apply relevant legal concepts (e.g., confidentiality).
