Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our vibrant dental practice. Experience in dental front office work is desirable. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and administrative tasks. Your expertise in medical administrative support, health information management, and customer service will help streamline clinic operations and enhance patient experience. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression Schedule appointments efficiently using electronic health record (EHR) systems Verify patient insurance coverage and process payments accurately, including medical collections and billing procedures Manage patient records with strict adherence to HIPAA confidentiality policies and ensure accurate documentation review Handle phone communication with professionalism, providing clear information and scheduling assistance Maintain clinic organization by managing medical records, updating patient information, and reviewing documentation for completeness Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and support medical office management tasks Skills Proven experience in medical office administration, front desk reception or healthcare clerical roles proficiency in electronic health records management Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite; ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently Exceptional customer service skills with phone etiquette and professional communication abilities Bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Knowledge of clinical confidentiality policies and health information management standardsJoin us in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.
