The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office reception, possess excellent organizational skills, and vast experience in dental insurance claim submissions and correspondence with various insurance companies. Must be personable , friendly, but firm! Our office is a low stress , low production, friendly environment. The position is for 2 days per week, flexible hours and days, generally Mondays and Tuesdays . Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the dental office, including scheduling appointments, overseeing patient flow, communicating with dental insurance companies, and ensuring a welcoming environment, and providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain accurate dental/ medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care. Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance office operations. Qualifications Proven experience in a dental office management/reception role or similar position Familiarity with general dental terminology and general computer use and knowledge. Use of and experience with various dental software is needed for managing patient records effectively. Strong knowledge of management principles and HIPAA compliance requirements. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
