Unit Clerk - Brain Injury Unit Methodist Rehabilitation - 3.0 Jackson, MS Job Details Full-time 16 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 403(b) Life insurance Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Unit Clerk Join Our Team We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Unit Clerk to support our nursing team by providing exceptional clerical and administrative support while ensuring efficient communication and workflow on the unit. Schedule Full-Time 40 hours per week Every other weekend required Responsibilities Provide secretarial and clerical support for the nursing unit, including order entry and medical record maintenance. Coordinate communication among patients, families, visitors, physicians, and staff. Answer and route telephone calls and nurse call requests promptly and professionally. Maintain patient records, forms, and unit supplies with accuracy and confidentiality. Process physician orders and coordinate services, treatments, supplies, and equipment as requested. Promote efficient unit workflow while providing excellent customer service. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred. Previous experience as a Unit Clerk or Unit Secretary strongly preferred. Medical terminology knowledge preferred. Strong computer, clerical, and organizational skills.
