Qualified applicants for this role:
Recognizing and meeting all clients' needs Delegating necessary callbacks in a timely fashion via in person contact, memos, and emails Check voicemail, return calls, Schedule department consults, rechecks, and any procedures necessary from both client calls and doctor requests Call RDVM for records when needed and ensure that necessary records are attached by the Client Care Representative such as diagnostics and radiographs that may be needed prior to the patient being seen on the service Confirming any appointments with the client the day prior to the patient being seen on the service Conducting follow up calls for all patients seen the day prior including discharge Ensuring all callbacks and updates for inpatients are done daily by 12pm Provide check-ins with the client for post-op updates the day after discharge, every other day until the 2-week mark or until the doctor's preference Monitor any diagnostic requests/results to ensure that they are received by the doctor Fax and email any records/summaries/diagnostic reports to rDVM Communicating with clients regarding any needs from the service including concerns or complaints Handling special requests for the patients Coordinating and facilitating the doctor's schedule for all needs including client callbacks, patient updates, procedure cancellations, diagnostic results, etc. Coordinate discharges appropriately such as using the discharge column at appropriate time in ezyVet Consistently communicate with the service technicians and doctor throughout the day to ensure all necessary needs for the patients and clients are being met such as medications, refill medication requests, callbacks, and updates Check memos hourly, respond appropriately and coordinate with doctor /technician for follow up on memos requiring further attention Ensure all day's previous records have been sent, request doctor finish any incomplete records and record missing records on google spreadsheet Owner updates as requested by doctor Facilitate visitations for the service Reliable transportation required Why Choose GVS Hands on training provided The chance to make a difference in an animal and owners' life PTO earned Unique culture that focuses on strong positive relationships within the work place Exceptional benefits (health, vision and dental) Generous discount on employee's pet medical care.
Hourly Pay:
$20-$25 per hour. Compensation to commensurate with experience
