Medical Receptionist - Westerville/Worthington, OH Ohio Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team in the Westerville/Worthington area. The Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a vital role in creating a positive patient experience while ensuring the office operates efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner. Schedule and confirm patient appointments. Answer and direct incoming phone calls. Verify insurance information and collect co-pays. Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Scan and file documents as needed. Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and other office staff. Assist with daily office operations while providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous medical reception or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience with EMR systems is a plus. Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
