Greet patients in a friendly and welcoming manner. Register patients according to established protocols, ensuring all personal and billing information is accurate. Assist patients with completing necessary forms, including medical insurance documentation. Inform patients of office procedures and policies. Maintain and manage accurate patient records in compliance with privacy regulations. Move patients through their appointments as scheduled and assist in keeping office flow smooth. Answer incoming calls, handle inquiries, and transfer calls to appropriate staff when necessary. Schedule patient appointments, including hospital admissions, tests, scans, and external appointments. Collect co-pays and payments and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions. Prepare and report statistics as required. Obtain external medical reports as needed by medical professionals. Respond to and comply with requests for information. Handle incoming and outgoing post efficiently. Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned. Maintain a well-organized stock of office supplies and medical forms. Ensure the reception area is neat, clean, and well-maintained at all times. Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
