Black Stone Pain Medicine is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Medical Receptionist to join our Salem clinic. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming experience for patients while keeping a busy medical office running smoothly. This position will initially be part-time (2-3 days per week) , with the opportunity to transition to full-time around October as our clinic continues to grow. We also offer a 90-day performance review , with the opportunity for a wage increase based on performance. What You'll Do Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries. Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars. Check patients in and out while ensuring accurate documentation. Verify insurance information and collect co-pays. Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to keep patient flow running efficiently. Complete general administrative and front office duties as needed. What We're Looking For Previous medical reception, medical office, or healthcare customer service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Experience with EMR systems is a plus. Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office. Positive attitude and a team-first mindset. What We Offer Competitive starting pay of $20.00 per hour .
