Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Appointment Scheduler to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will coordinate patient appointments efficiently, manage scheduling systems, and ensure seamless communication between patients and medical staff. Your proactive approach will help optimize clinic operations, enhance patient experience, and support overall practice productivity. Responsibilities Schedule patient appointments accurately using eClinicalWorks, ensuring optimal provider availability and clinic flow Manage appointment modifications, cancellations, and rescheduling requests with professionalism and efficiency Communicate clearly with patients via phone or electronic messaging regarding appointment details, directions, and pre-visit instructions while maintaining excellent phone etiquette Maintain organized medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Answering phones timely and addressing patient concerns. Qualifications Proven experience in medical scheduling within a healthcare setting or dental clinic environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional patient service and demonstrate professionalism at all times Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), multi-line phone systems, typing (10-key), and general office management software Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, record keeping, and appointment management Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure privacy and security of health information Join our dedicated team where your organizational expertise will help deliver outstanding patient care while supporting the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.
