Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Dental Receptionist/Office Administrator to join and grow with our amazing team of pediatric dental professionals. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk and maintaining a welcoming environment for our patients and their families. Our team values a healthy work/life balance. We LOVE kids and we LOVE making kids and their grown-ups smile :) Candidates with previous dental background are encouraged to apply (dental receptionist, dental assistants, hygienists, etc). Duties Outstanding customer service is a must! Must be self driven and collaborative Greet patients warmly as they arrive and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures. Manage phone systems to answer calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries efficiently Maintain patient records accurately using computerized systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with privacy regulations. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, coding, and managing correspondence related to patient care. Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and effective communication within the office. Assist in managing office supplies and equipment to maintain an organized front desk area. Support billing processes by verifying insurance information and processing payments as necessary. Experience Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is required Previous experience with high level customer service Must be able to work independently but also as a team, be self motivated, hardworking, and able to multi-task Proficiency in using electronic health record systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both in person and over the phone. Familiarity with office management practices and administrative procedures is beneficial. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
