Job Description
Greeting patients professionally both in person and on multiline phone system. Detail oriented. Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling Scanning Medical records in system. Notifying providers of patient arrivals Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records Verifying insurance and demographic, financial records and collecting patient copays, charges while correctly updating in system. Verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with customers, vendors and other employees Organization skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly Time management skills to prioritize and complete a side variety of tasks throughout the day Patience and listening skills to respond appropriate and interact positively with upset customers Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all customers, such as being personable and attentive copy medical records and send to requesting companies/providers. Heeding covid precautions and disinfecting lobby. They greet guests, help them with paperwork, check their identification, verify information and insurance, collect copays and any past due balances. Alert the medical staff that their next patient has arrived. After an appointment, Medical Receptionists schedule follow-ups, scanning medical records, collect payments
