Summary As the Front Office Coordinator at Estill Springs Family Dentistry, you will play a vital role in managing dental provider schedules, verifying dental insurance for patients, creating treatment plans, and ensuring smooth communication between our patients and dental providers. This position is essential for maintaining our commitment to excellent patient care and operational efficiency. This is not an entry level position. Responsibilities Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments. Actively manage schedule for providers for maximum productivity Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently. Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and issues. Assist patients with understanding their insurance benefits and financial responsibilities. Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and insurance transactions. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure proper coding for procedures performed. Requirements Proven experience in a dental office setting, preferably in an insurance verification and scheduling role. Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology. Take charge mentality and assume responsibility Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and insurance representatives. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
