About Us At AXIS Diabetes and Endocrinology, we provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with diabetes and endocrine disorders. Led by Dr. Neeraja Boddu, M.D., our practice is dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalized care while helping patients manage their health through education and evidence-based treatment. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team. Job Overview The Medical Receptionist will be an important part of our daily office operations. The primary focus will be front office responsibilities, patient communication, scheduling, and administrative tasks. The employee will also occasionally assist the clinical team with rooming patients and other back office duties as needed. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with appointments, questions, and general inquiries. Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient visits. Manage incoming and outgoing referrals and assist with obtaining records when needed. Check patients in and out of the office. Update and maintain accurate patient demographics and insurance information. Scan, fax, and upload documents into the electronic medical record system. Communicate professionally with patients, pharmacies, hospitals, and referring providers. Assist with general administrative and front office duties as needed. Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required. Friendly and comfortable interacting with patients. Medical office or customer service experience is a plus. Medical Assistant experience or certification is preferred, but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills. Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical records systems. Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude. Pay:
From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
